The DVSAF organizes a SHOOTING on BOWLS
For handguns.
Categories and calibers.
Two categories in .22 to .45 ACP calibers, with normal sights. (Open sight)
Weapons with a telescopic sight or light point are accepted, but will not participate in the classification.
Ammunition of the "wad-cutter" type is prohibited.
Category "GUN".
Category "REVOLVER".
Targets: Five bowling pins placed on the table at a distance of 15 meters.
Match: 5 sets of five shots on five pins.
In the maximum time per series of ten seconds.
Wearing protective eyewear and ear protection is compulsory for all persons on the shooting range.
Classification by category:
Maximum score: 25 pins at 10 points. (Only pins fallen from the table are counted.)
In the event of a tie, the tie will be based on the overall shooting time of the 5 series.
Participation: 10 euros per game + a sausage bread included.
Price of additional sausage bread: 2.5 euros
Possibility of redemption in the competition depending on availability: 5 euros

COMPETITION
1) Match,
The match consists of:
5 series of 5 shots, without tries, drawn on 5 bowling pins placed on a table.
The shooting is carried out with 1 or 2 hands, without support at a shooting distance of 15 meters.
The time available for each series of 5 shots is 10 seconds.
For both categories of weapons the pins are placed on a table whose depth is about 30 cm and placed 15 cm from the front edge with a spacing of 35 cm.
For 22 caliber guns the pins are placed on the posterior edge of the table, with a spacing of 35 cm.
The start of each series is done with the weapon aimed at 45 ° towards the ground.
2) Security.
The specific rules of the DVSAF and the Army still apply.
The weapons are taken out and put back in their suitcase on the shooting table before and after the competition according to the safety rules in force at DVSAF, on the initiative of the shooting director, who specifies the rules before the match, the latter is authorized to take all the measures he deems essential for the safety and smooth running of the competition.
3) Scores and rankings by category,
Maximum score: 25 pins at 10 points per pin.
* Only pins that have fallen from the table are counted. The pins left in place, as well as pins that have fallen but remain on the table are counted as "zero".
* If multiple pins fall together due to impact on the support table, the series counts as zero.
* A classification will be established for the two categories, without distinction of age and sex of the fencers.
* In the event of a tie, the tie-breaker is based on the overall shooting time of the 5 series.
4) Stoppages.
No clutch is allowed. Only the results of shots fired during the regulation time of 10 sec are counted.
5) Responsibilities.
By registering for the competition, each fencer acknowledges having read these regulations and the DVSAF's ROI and accept them without restriction.
